First-generation South Asian migrants’ perspectives of managing their multimorbidity within the Australian healthcare system

Who’s involved?

This project was created by a co-design panel consisting of representatives from Western Health, Deakin University, Ethnic Communities’ Council of Victoria and RACGP. The participants are first-generation, South Asian migrants with at least two chronic diseases living in Victoria.

What are the anticipated outcomes?

We anticipate that this study will provide insight into the experiences, preferences, beliefs and attitudes of our participants regarding the patient-centredness of the healthcare they receive for the management of their multimorbidities.
